What is HisseUSD?
HisseUSD is the website at hisseusd.com. It exists so you can see the real dollar value of Borsa Istanbul BIST 100 stocks. The Turkish lira is not a stable unit of account, so a TL chart can look strong while purchasing power has not.
Why dollars, not only lira
When the currency moves, the lira print and the dollar print tell different stories. HisseUSD puts both on one page so you can judge purchasing return, not only the nominal TL move.
What it covers
All 96 stocks in the Borsa Istanbul BIST 100 index are here. Price history reaches back to 2016 and updates after the close on each trading day. Every stock shows its dollar price next to its lira price, and you can follow the index itself in dollars too.
What you can do here
Browse the BIST 100, follow the names you care about, and open a fuller USD and TL chart on each stock. Charts are public. Sign in to save favorites. We keep adding features. HisseUSD is not a broker and does not give investment advice. Prices come from Yahoo Finance. Write to hi@hisseusd.com if you need help.
Where to start
What is HisseUSD?
HisseUSD (hisseusd.com) is a website for viewing Borsa Istanbul BIST 100 stocks in US dollars and Turkish lira, so you can see real value when the lira is not stable.
Why view Turkish stocks in USD?
The lira price can rise because the currency fell. The dollar chart shows purchasing power.
How is the dollar price calculated?
Each day's lira close is divided by the same day's USDTRY rate, so every historical price is converted at the rate that applied on that day rather than at a single rate across the whole chart.
Can I follow stocks I care about?
Yes. Charts are public. Sign in to save favorites and open more detail on each name.
Are the prices live?
No. Charts use delayed end-of-day prices from Yahoo Finance.
Will the product keep changing?
Yes. We are growing the site and adding features. The core stays the same: BIST 100 in dollars next to the lira print.
Is this investment advice?
No. Delayed data. Not investment advice.
